'MDS' range of high quality, powerful, hand held pneumatic rock drills provides total reliability and performance. Dependability, low maintenance, maximum operator safety and comfort make it the favourite of both drillers and managers. Working parts are constantly protected with an effective lubrication system.

'MDS' rock drills are highly effective for general excavation, quarry drilling, bench mining,
secondary drilling, underground drilling and are recognised as workhorse for mining, tunneling, construction and utility companies as well as quarries worldwide.

'MDS' Rock drill's external body components are of drop forged alloy steel construction and efficaciously heat-treated and precisely ground to accommodate very high precision dynamic components and to perform in toughest conditions. Low air consumption and very high drilling rate in relation to weight of the machine has made 'MDS' rock drills most popular in India and abroad.

MDS 404W - Pusher Leg Drill - PDF

This drill is intended to drill hoes 27-40 mm (1 1/16" - 1 9/16") in diameter upto the depth of 6 meter (20') .

This model drill has maintained its reputation of being one of the most economical and reliable rock drill for underground mines and tunnels because of its dependable design which includes Rifle Bar Rotation and Flushing system with double concentric tubes. This drill is used for horizontal or inclined

drilling in conjunction with a Pusher Leg in underground mines and tunnel drilling. For underground applications, MDS-404W Drill is most reliable because of its low air consumption and a very high drill rate in relation to weight of the Drill.

MDS 404W Drill by virtue of its low weight in practical is a sinker as well. Instead of the 'spade handle' a T-Handle can be easily fitted.
